On coming into our home, Darren talked about how his approach to selling differed from other Real Estate agents.
We were immediately confident that his sales method, viewing by appointment only, was best for us. The possibility of having an agent stand by the door while strangers wandering through our home bothered us. However, Darren’s method of walking prospective buys through the property, one group at a time, made us much more comfortable. We were confident that we would have people who were really interested in purchasing a property like ours, not just 'coming in for a look'.
Darren also assured us that there were extensive numbers of people on their books looking for a property like ours, so we shouldn’t have a problem selling. He was upfront about the possible price we could achieve, and explained the process we could expect over the next few weeks.
With seven groups booked to come through on Saturday (Grand Final day!), Darren said we should be reasonably confident of more offers. We had a phone call at half-time in the game to be told that we had 4 (yes, FOUR) offers on the table. Darren and the team had negotiated to achieve higher offers than the already ‘confident’ asking price. We were so pleased.
In any dealings we have had with Darren, we have always been shown courtesy and a caring, understanding and honest attitude. We have been very lucky with the speed at which the sale of our house occurred but the process has been as smooth as we feel it could be. We are happy to recommend Darren to others considering selling their homes.
